In these unique and challenging times to our nation, the weight of economic catastrophe is falling squarely on the shoulders of small business owners in America. With the burden of running a business on narrow profit margins, low cash reserves, and the inability to bring in expert consulting, entrepreneurs seek guidance and assistance to help weather the storm. Prestamos believes that a key component of our mission lies in our development services work with our small business community.
Funded [in part] through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, Prestamos will offer no-cost training and technical assistance (TA) to strengthen economically disadvantaged businesses, particularly in Opportunity Zones, Rural areas, and HUBZones. Support will include bilingual training and coaching in areas such as Accounting, QuickBooks, Business Pivoting, Strategic Planning, Business Plan Coaching, Marketing, Debt Restructuring, and Human Resources.
Priority will be given to small businesses with under nine employees that are minority-owned, located in a rural community, Opportunity or HUBZone, and/or owned by individual(s) considered low-income.
